The aperture required between the ceiling joists in the ceiling is 564mm by 760mm, the length of the hole in the ceiling is easily adjusted by noggins.

The external frame Dimensions are 633mm wide by 830mm long by 10mm deep from the surface of the plaster – exactly.

The clear opening once the hatch door is opened for access is 532mm wide x 630mm long.

The insulation is fitted into the hinged down part of the door so it hinges down with the door to allow a loft ladder to drop down.

Helps to reduce your heating bills by stopping heat escaping into the loft area.

Once the opening is made in the ceiling the hatch is simply screwed into place, a gasket forms an air tight seal against the plaster, and the door to fixed frame also has an air tight gasket.

Simply turn the thumbscrew through 90 degrees to open or lock the hatch.

 Comes complete with fixings, and the fitting instructions are on the box.
